Kid's Learn to Climb Courses at Boulders Indoor Climbing Centre

Climbing is a great activity for kids! The Kid's Learn to Climb Course at Boulders Indoor Climbing Centre is great fun and it also helps to develop children in areas such as motivation, self awareness, confidence, and fitness.

The Kid's Learn to Climb Course at Boulders Indoor Climbing Centre follows the accredited National Indoor Climbing Achievement Scheme (NICAS) and involves completing a logbook with your climbing instructor at the end of each session.

The Kids Learn to Climb Course at Boulders Indoor Climbing Centre comprises of five NICAS levels each meeting the five levels of NICAS. As children develop in their climbing they will move up to the next NICAS level.

Kid's Learn to Climb Course - NICAS Level 1: An entry level aimed at novices that recognises their ability to climb safely under supervision.

Kids Learn to Climb Course - NICAS Level 2: Aimed at teaching children to top rope, promoting good practice in climbing and bouldering unsupervised on an artificial wall.

Kids Learn to Climb Course - NICAS Level 3: A more advanced top roping and bouldering level that focuses on developing technique and movement skills. 

Kids Learn to Climb Course - NICAS Level 4: Concentrates on the skills required to both lead climb and belay a lead climber.

Kids Learn to Climb Course - NICAS Level 5: The top level that focuses on improving performance, a deeper understanding of climbing systems and the wider world of climbing.

Dates and Times:

NICAS Level 1: Sat/ Sun 10 - 11.30am

NICAS Level 2 and 3: Mon/  Wed 5 - 6.30pm or Sat/ Sun 12 - 1.30pm

NICAS Level 4 and 5: 4 - 5.30pm

Prices:

NICAS Level 1: £80 (8 week block booking)

NICAS Level 2,3,4 and 5: £40 (4 week block booking)
