The Crucible

The Crucible is our bouldering competition that runs twice a year during the Winter and Summer.
The bouldering competition is held over 9 days and gives climbers the opportunity to work the problems.
It’s simple, 30 problems, 9 days, self scored, with a final after the 4th round.
Doors open on the first Saturday of the month at 10am, come in and collect a score card from reception and get involved.
And the best bit... it's FREE! You just need to pay your entry to the climbing centre and there's no additional charge for taking part!
The Winter Crucible dates 2011/12
Round 1: 8th - 16th October
Round 2: 12th - 20th November
Round 3: 10th - 18th December
Round 4: 7th - 15th January
Round 5: 11th - 19th February
Round 6: 10th - 18th March
Grand Final: 31st March 2012. 10am - 6pm
