Climb More with the Junior Project at Boulders
The Junior Project at Boulders indoor Climbing Centre is a Climbing Club aimed at climbers who are working towards their NICAS level 5 certificate. It is a chance to socialise and climb with like minded young people. The Junior Project focuses on improving performance and gaining a deeper understanding of climbing systems, the wider world of climbing and loads of lead climbing!
- Improved performance, training and injury avoidance and management
- Competition climbing, taking falls and advanced belaying
- Introduction to outdoor climbing
To become a member of the Junior Project you must have competed your NICAS level 4 certificate, which can be completed as part of the Geckos' Climbing Club. You must be prepared to develop your skills, climb more and have fun meeting new people.

What’s Next
Once you have completed NICAS Level 5 and are aged 14 years you are ready forThe Project.
The Project is where competent climbers who are under 21 are given the chance to take control of your their climbing. You’ll have the chance to do some awesome activities and get to try out Boulders' competition routes before anyone else!

All sessions are conducted by one or more of Boulders' qualified members of staff who have been CRB checked, qualified by the sport's National Award Giving Body, The MLTB(UK) and proficient in climbing coaching.
*Prices for all lessons using the NICAS syllabus do not include the logbooks. These are supplied direct from the not for profit organisation NICAS.
Brothers and sisters too young to join in the fun?!
Don't worry they can play in Pebbles...
Pebbles is Boulders' climbing adventure play area for children from pre-school to 7-years.
Under 7s participating in climbing lessons may play in Pebbles after their lesson.
The cost is £3:50 per child for unlimited play and it's free for an accompanying adult.
