Competent Climbers at boulders
If you are a competenent climber you are able to visit the centre, unsupervised as and when you like. First you will need to register, which will certify you as competent. Once registered there are two options for entrance to the centre:
Non-member entry: £9.00 or pay £15.00 for a LIFETIME membership, after which it will cost £5.00 off peak and £7.00 at peak times.
Boulders Courses to improve your climbing
Kids Clubs - Our Weekly Climbing Clubs for U18s, U13s and U10s focus on coaching and teaching good climbing practices and technique. Climbing Refresher Course - Climbing Refresher lessons are designed for those who have climbed before but feel they need some TLC just to make sure they can remember how to be safe.
Lead Climbing Course - On the introduction to lead climbing course you will be taught the 'sharp end' of the sport. Once basic safety systems have been learnt, participants will be encouraged to go at their own pace and climb routes within their ability as they progress.
Get Qualified - Boulders runs periodic Climbing Wall Award courses which, once qualified, enables the participants to teach groups within any indoor climbing wall in the UK. Click here for more information on the CWA.
Events and Competitions - Boulders will be running different events and competitions throughout the year, keep and eye on the website for any updates!
Want to bring your friend and "show them the ropes"?
If you want to bring a friend to climb who has little or no previous experience, as a registered competent climber at boulders you are able to sign in up to 2 novices to climb under your supervision.
