As Cafe locations go we think boulders café does pretty well for originality, flavour and well, sheer excitement. What might look like a dreary grey industrial unit from the outside you’ll soon see is anything but inside.
Like no other café experience you have ever encountered, at boulders you can sit back and enjoy a whole host of culinary delights while watching your friends, family and fellow climbers disappear into the rafters up walls over 30ft tall, then if you decide to, you can follow them by giving it a go for yourself.

At boulders we pride ourselves on offering all our customers, climbing or otherwise, amazing taste and satisfaction when paying us a visit. That’s why we serve a mouth-watering selection of delicious dishes and treats including Homemade Soups, Paninis, Jacket Potatoes, Fresh Sandwiches, Wraps, Bagels, Smoothies and Locally Produced Pies not to mention lots of tasty Specials.As well as having loads of savoury options available we also have lots of naughty treats on offer, so whether your weakness is Cake, Muffins, Brownies or Belgian Waffles, your indulgent side need never feel neglected again.
If you’re looking for something a little more balanced and in-keeping with your training program, then we also offer a range of Pre and Post Workout goodies designed to help you get the most out of your climb and more importantly give your body some of the essential ingredients it needs to recover and grow stronger ready for your next session.With so much on offer we would like to think we have something for everyone. However, if nothing tickles your fancy then simply ask one of the café team and they will be happy to help.
Local SupportWith the ever-changing and somewhat unstable economic climate, boulders café recognizes the importance of supporting local businesses and so takes great pride in working closely with a number of local food and drink producers and suppliers, sourcing Cakes, Coffee, Dairy, Bread, Pies and Meats helping to bring taste satisfaction and quality to all our customers.
What’s a café without coffee?
Well unless you don’t like the stuff, or you’re a dedicated Tea or Hot Chocolate drinker then we think you’ll find the answer is pretty rubbish. Luckily we serve the lot!
In boulders café we insist on sourcing only the highest quality produce as well being committed to using fair-trade goods in an effort to help improve the welfare of the workers producing all our tasty Teas, Coffees and Hot Chocolate. As well as using quality ingredients we also use some of the best equipment in the game. Since boulders café opened it has been working closely with local family run company, CoffeePro, through which we sourced cutting edge equipment used as an industry standard during the UK Barista Championships (UKBC) in recent years.To make sure we get the best out of all of this fancy technology all boulders café staff have undergone 1-on-1 training from UKBC finalist for Wales, Will Corby of CoffeePro.
There’s Magic in Them There Beans
Ok, so they’re not actually magic but the finished product is pretty darn good.
Using a blend of Fair-trade and Organic beans sourced from 8 Central South American countries including Brazil, Colombia and Bolivia, which are then roasted not a million miles away in the Forest of Dean, you’re guaranteed both freshness and quality in every cup. But hey don’t just take our word for it, come and see for yourself.
Did you know one of our 12oz cups of coffee contains as much caffeine as a can of Red Bull and what’s more, it’s completely natural!
